Elkhorn
View Lodge was just finished in September, 2001. Constructed
of 14" diameter logs, three large, stone fireplaces,
fir wood and blaze slate floors. The Elkhorn View Lodge has
a large, inviting great room with a 30-foot high ceiling,
with huge exposed scissor trusses.
Come
to relax, read, sit in the hot tub or sauna. Or explore the
440-acre park-like ranch with Ponderosa pines, Douglas fir,
and Aspen trees. You can also enjoy the endless variety of
rock formations, formed by the boulder batholith. The lodge
is located only ten miles south of Helena and is also halfway
between beautiful Glacier and Yellowstone parks.
From
the lodge there is easy access to: Fishing, Camping, Boating,
Snowmobiling, Rafting, Downhill, Golfing, Skiing and Snowboarding.
