Snowmobiling is a great winter activity around Clancy and Helena. There are three major trail systems near our Helena Montana Bed and Breakfast, all within a 30-minute drive. The Marysville area has 45 miles of groomed trails. Just 10 miles from Bed and Breakfast in Helena is the Minnehaha-Rimini area with 120 miles of snowmobiling trails. Northeast of Helena, there are 45 miles of good trails in the Magpie-Sunshine area that include inspiring views of the Gates of The Mountains Wilderness.

The Missouri River is at the core of the water sport recreation around our Helena Bed and Breakfast. A massive river system, the Missouri pushes its way through three dam systems within a one hour drive of our Helena Montana Bed and Breakfast, allowing for both lakes and free flowing river recreation opportunity. Canyon Ferry Recreation area is located just to the east of our Bed and Breakfast Helena and has over 76 miles of shoreline. Hauser and Holter Lakes, just downstream on the Missouri, have good boating and fishing as well as close access to the Gates of the Mountains wilderness and the Beartooth Wildlife Management area.
